The first steps
What does it cost?
Total cost of the formation to become a level 1 certified teacher is:
600€ if you want to certify within Nordic Vertical Barre.
450€ if you want to certify within NordicBarre.
900€ if you want to certify within both Nordic Vertical Barre & NordicBarre.
The exam fee is 50€ and after the certification there is a cost of 20€ a month for access to the teachers platform.

Practical info:

Nordic Vertical Barre is 12 hours training. 9 hours with Ditte Wendt spread out over 3 days with a 1 hour self-practice and, if doing the online course, video recording for each day.

NordicBarre is 8 hours in-person or online training. 6 hours with Ditte Wendt spread out over 2 days with a 1 hour self-practice and, if doing the online course, a video recording for each day.

You now have access to the Teachers Manual, our Barre Dictionary and 2 full classes with videos and documents for your practice.

After the teacher training there will be a written test that needs to be passed.

Now you are ready to start practicing for your physical exam. You will do 10 hours of self-practice, 5 hours can be either teaching or taking the classes. The remaining 5 hours is advised to be used teaching the class with reel people in.

You can now send in your exam video showing you teaching a full 50 minutes class for a minimum of 2 people.

If you do not pass your exam the first time, you will receive all the feedback you need to pass the second.

Once the exam is passed, you will receive your certificate stating that you are now certified in teaching for The NordicBarre Method. You will also now have access to the platform once the first month is paid. If you wish to pay for a full year you will get a 10% discount.

Community & Guidance
We are a new method and we care a lot about all our teachers. We want you to shine and find your best way of teaching the method.
We want to create a teachers community where everyone feels welcome, just as well as we welcome everyone in our classes. It is important to us that all teachers of The NordicBarre Method are enjoying themself in class and we know that each teacher is unique. Our goal is to be able to bring teachers together to bounce off each other and inspire one another. We think that everyone can contribute to the method with their personal style, their ideas and their personalities. We are working on creating events and retreats where we can bring our teachers together to either teach or to enjoy some time learning new skills.
